Test chain storage reels can electronically apply and retract calibration test chains. Storage reels are useful when high capacity test chains are being used to calibrate mechanical belt scales. An electronic geared brake motor rolls the chain onto the belt and over the weigh length. The brake will hold the chain in storage if power fails to the motor. Test chain storage reels are available in multiple compartment styles to simulate different loading conditions on the belt scale.
