Sitrans TF is used where other transmitters can't cope. Mainly because this field transmitter is IP68 rated.
SITRANS TF comes in rugged diecast aluminum or long-lasting high-grade steel. It transforms signals from resistance thermometers, resistance transmitters, thermocouples and voltage transmitters into a load independent DC signal corresponding to the sensor characteristic. The remotely mounted sensor prevents the transmitter heating up at high temperature, long collar and protective pipes prevent vibrations and oscillations in SITRANS TF.
For tags with difficult to access you can mount your SITRANS TF remotely at easily accessible places and display the measured value on the freely programmable digital display.
You can even use the SITRANS TF in a version without a transmitter as a comfortable display unit for all 4 to 20 mA signals.
All variants of the SITRANS TF are available in intrinsically safe or explosion-proof versions.
